Customer Reviews
Solid tour, good value
I booked the Sip of Philly Tour for a weekend trip with friends. The booking process online was straightforward, no issues there. We received a confirmation email right away with all the details, which was helpful. Transportation between breweries was comfortable and on time. Our guide, Mark, knew a lot about the local craft beer scene and shared some interesting history. The quality of the breweries visited was good, and we got plenty of samples. Lunch was included, which was a nice bonus and tasted pretty good for a tour meal. Overall, it felt like good value for the money, especially considering the tastings and transport. It was a well-paced day and I would say it's a solid choice if you're looking to explore Philly's breweries without planning it all yourself.
Consistent great experience
Another fantastic experience with City Brew Tours. This time we did the Sip of DC Tour and it was just as well-organized and fun as the Original Brew Tour we took in Boston last year. The guides are always knowledgeable and keep things moving smoothly. It's why we keep coming back.
Good tour, some small issues
We did the Original Brew Tour in Portland. The booking was easy enough, and customer service was quick to answer a question I had about dietary restrictions for the included meal. Our guide was friendly and kept us engaged. The breweries themselves were a good mix, some smaller, some larger, and the beer selection was decent. My main critique would be that the pickup spot was a little hard to find, maybe a more descriptive landmark or photo would help. Also, the tour ran a bit over schedule, which was fine for us but could be an issue if someone had plans right after. Overall, still a fun day and good way to see the city's beer scene, just minor things they could tighten up.
So much fun!
The Bachelor Party Tour was amazing! We had such a blast. The breweries were awesome and the beer was flowing. Our guide was super funny and kept the energy up all day. I'm definitely booking again for my friend's birthday and recommending them to everyone!

Do they provide transportation between breweries, or do you have to figure that out yourself?
Does City Brew Tours have military discounts? My husband is a veteran and we're looking to book for his birthday.
How many breweries do you actually hit on one of their tours? Trying to plan for the NYC one.
Is food really included on the Original Brew Tour? Or is it just like pretzels and stuff?
Wondering if these tours are legit? Saw a couple of negative reviews on a different site, but then a lot of good ones.
